El director general de Liconsa, Héctor Pablo Ramírez Puga Leyva, informó el levantamiento de la bandera blanca en los 71 municipios considerados de muy alta marginación de Oaxaca, entidad que cuenta con más de la mitad de todos los municipios del país donde la paraestatal distribuye la leche a un peso el litro.
El funcionario recordó que durante la reciente visita del secretario de Desarrollo Social, Luis Miranda Nava, a San Andrés Paxtlán, se pusieron en operación 12 lecherías en igual número de comunidades de alta marginación, cuyos habitantes cuentan desde el pasado 15 de diciembre con leche de alta calidad que contribuirá a enriquecer su dieta diaria.
Las comunidades que desde ese día ya cuentan con leche Liconsa a peso el litro, se ubican en los municipios: San Francisco Cahuacúa, Santiago Tlazoyaltepec, San Andrés Paxtlán, San Miguel Mixtepec, San Miguel Tilquiápam, Santa María Peñoles, San Melchor Betaza, Santiago Camotlán, San Juan Petlapa, Santiago Apoala, San Miguel Huautla y Santos Reyes Yucuná.
Ramírez Puga Leyva dijo que llevar leche Liconsa en esas condiciones de precio a los municipios más pobres del país, “es un acto de justicia social que el gobierno del presidente Enrique Peña Nieto, realiza a favor de los mexicanos que viven en condiciones de vulnerabilidad”.
Puntualizó además que en la última sesión del Consejo de Administración, se acordó prolongar el beneficio de este programa hasta abril de 2017, periodo en que las lecherías Liconsa seguirán llevando la leche a peso el litro a los 171 municipios más pobres del país.
Ramírez Puga Leyva, externó que el presidente de México desde el inicio de su administración, admitió que en nuestro país existe un lastre que lastima y que es la pobreza, pero no sólo la de los indicadores en salud, vivienda, educación e infraestructura para el desarrollo, sino también existe pobreza alimentaria.
Dijo que el número de personas en esa condición, al inicio de la presente administración, era de poco más de 7 millones de personas y ha ido disminuyendo gracias a acciones llevadas a cabo desde la Estrategia Nacional de Inclusión.
Liconsa, consciente de la necesidad de abatir la desnutrición sobre todo infantil en poblaciones de alta marginación, enfocó sus esfuerzos en trasladar el padrón de beneficiarios hacia esas 171 comunidades, para llevar leche de alta concentración nutritiva a precio preferencial.
Así, Liconsa incrementó su presencia en comunidades donde nunca antes había llegado el Programa de Abasto Social y especialmente en comunidades marginadas e indígenas del país, expresó su director general.
